Dude and Zombies

Imagine when you're the only survivor from zombie's attack. Only with your guns and a broken car. You need to survive all zombie's attack while repairing your car. Also to make the condition worse, the car's parts is scattered around so you need to pick them up while running for your life.

Dude and zombies offers a rather unique gameplay. We need to survive the zombie waves while repairing our cars. It is not an easy task of course.

You play as the 'dude', started with a gun but without any coin left. Also the coin dropped from the zombies is very cheap, fortunately there is a skill to increase the number of coin dropped from monster.

The first enemy the dude will face is something like rabbit. I think it is the hardest enemy in this game because of it can evade your bullets by jumping. I've only played until the 30th waves, so i only know about 5 zombies in the games, maybe you can try until later waves before finishing your car.

The first weapon is pistol, it is really weak and the accuracy is terrible. Although there is some skill to increase your accuracy, i prefer to get the skill "Business Man" and "Quick Learner" until the 3rd level before spending on the other skill. Business Man increases the coin drops from zombies, and Quick Learner will make your level capped faster. The are total 10 weapons like uzi, ak-47 even minigun. Also a personnel mine (land mines) will mike your life easier if a lot of zombies coming for you.

Beside the creepy 8bit-like graphics and no music in the game, the gameplay is somewhat addicting. But i think the graphic also some unique point from this game.

End Of Scanlation?

A coalition of manga publisher already made its movement. They succesfully forced OneManga.com offline.

One Manga posted an announcement

It pains me to announce that this is the last week of manga reading on One Manga (!!). Manga publishers have recently changed their stance on manga scanlations and made it clear that they no longer approve of it.

We have decided to abide by their wishes, and remove all manga content (regardless of licensing status) from the site.

I think this will have impact on the publisher too. Honestly, I also read manga scanlation regularly because i must wait about 2 years or so until the manga avalaible in my area. In worst case, the manga i read will never come to my area. So sad. -.-

“39’s Giving Day” Concert – Expensive

On March 9th 2010a Vocaloid concert event known as 「Miku no Nichi Kanshasai 39's Giving Day」 was held at the Zepp Tokyo music hall. Well of course i download the nico-nico broadcast of it. It is amazing concert, really.
The 「39’s Giving Day」 concert will be released on Blue-ray, DVD and CD on September 2010. The price is.... err like usual Japanese Blue-ray, so high. *sigh*.
For the Blue-ray version you should prepare about 7,350 JPY, while a DVD version just cost a little cheaper. But if you insisted, you can buy a CD version for 3,150 JPY, sigh... its only CD version though.
